Vote for GayCities’ Best of 2011 Now!

The folks at GayCities, whose readers deemed Portland’s now-defunct E-Room the best lesbian bar in the country back in 2010, are at it again — and they want your input.

Click here to give your 2 cents in 9 categories for the Best of GayCities 2011. You’ve until January 4 to vote in categories ranging from “Best Resort Town” to “Best Food City.”

* Best Sand and Sun

* Best City 2011

Nearly 50 cities, from San Francisco to Rome, received nominations, with selections based on thousands of reviews, fans and check-ins this year by GayCities members across the globe. Portland didn’t make the finals in any of the categories — but that’s what write-in votes are for (cough cough).

Voting results (and the winner of a vacation package including two round-trip tickets and lodging for two nights anywhere American Airlines flies in North America) will be announced on January 5. GayCities reaches over 450,000 visitors each month and another 800,000 through its sister site, LGBT news and entertainment site Queerty.com.
