Admission is free and the public is welcome.

Organizers hope the event will Inform, Educate and EmpowerAfrican and African American communities of Oregon to embrace the Concept, Impact, as well as How to React from an HIV/AIDS diagnosis among members within their community.

The Reverend Renee’ Ward, founder of Chrysalis Ministries and its many volunteers have worked passionately to present culturally-relative outreach events and programs to enlighten African and African American communities on how to eliminate the spread of HIV/AIDS locally and globally by PLANTING A S.E.E.D. through (Service, Education, Empowerment and Dedication.)

“A POSITIVE diagnosis doesn’t mean a NEGATIVE outcome. I SPEAK LIFE,” states Ward, who along with other community partners remain hopeful that “. . . we are one step closer to retiring the red ribbon as a symbolic badge of courage once a CURE for AIDS has been found.”
