Bachmann Backs Off

…no, not Michele. She’s still “going strong” on her quest for the presidency of the United States. Bleh. Truth be told, Michele Bachmann is the congresswoman representing my hometown, so she has been churning my stomach for far longer than her current presidential bid. It baffles the mind that people even entertain the idea that she is a decent human being, let alone “presidential.” But those are just my own personal sour grapes…

Remember when Truth Wins Out‘s John Becker went undercover to see if Bachmann & Associates (the therapy practice of hopeful future “first spouse” Marcus Bachmann) was trying to sell a homosexuality “cure” with public funds? (We reported on this in July.)

Then, remember when Bachmann & Associates began demanding “no show” fees for future appointments that John Becker cancelled? (We reported on that in November.)

Well, months later, Truth Wins Out reports that Marcus Bachmann has “written off” the no-show fees:

The heated standoff between Truth Wins Out and Marcus Bachmann abruptly ended today after the therapist agreed to stop trying to collect $150 from TWO for canceled “ex-gay” therapy sessions. The voice message, left by a Bachmann & Associates’ billing representative, informed TWO Communication’s Director, John Becker, that “[his] account is at a zero balance” and that the charges were written off “per Marcus Bachmann.”

Click on through to the link to hear the voicemail left by Bachmann & Associates.

We’re glad to close the book on this story. We’d be even happier to close the book on the Bachmanns altogether!
