Greasy Kid Stuff!
The squeaky wheel gets the grease? You bet! And so will most everything else when Greasy Kid Stuff presents the Grease Ball—an eclectic kid-centric afternoon festival featuring pirate rockers, Texas guitar slingers, indie films for kids and an all-female stunt-bike dance troupe—2:30 p.m. March 18 at Wonder Ballroom, 128 N.E. Russell St.

The Grease Ball is the brainchild of Belinda Miller and Hova Najarian, hosts of the popular children’s radio show Greasy Kid Stuff (8 to 9 a.m. Saturdays on KNRK 94.7 FM) and DJs for the recent batch of “Baby Loves Disco” parties at Crystal Ballroom.

Captain Bogg & Salty, The Jellydots, a mini-squadron from The Sprockettes, DIY silkscreening from Orbitbug, and designs by Jessica Wolk-Stanley will all be in attendance. Make your own $2 Greasy Kid Stuff bandanna! Plus flip books, thumatropes, fun filmy stuff from Indiekid Films, a $5 complete and yummy kid menu and great food for adults, too. Ball gowns, tuxes and tiaras optional!

Tickets are is $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and younger from the box office or Ticketmaster. Ages 2 and younger free.
