After taking a two year hiatus from the music industry, Portland indie pop musician (and longtime MTV/Logo darling) Logan Lynn has returned with a filthy, pounding, epic dance anthem in “Turn Me Out,” being released this coming Tuesday June 5th – just in time for summer!
The track is the first single off Lynn’s long-awaited follow up to 2010′s critically acclaimed charity record “I Killed Tomorrow Yesterday” and 2009′s award winning, Dandy Warhols-produced “From Pillar To Post” and is just a taste of what’s to come when the full album is released this fall.
The happy pop synth of “Turn Me Out” contrasts nicely with the darker places Lynn has been both musically and personally and bodes well for a pop breakout. It was co-written by David Appaloosa (from pop supergroup The Hugs), and was produced and engineered by Gino Mari at The Country Club Recording Studios in Portland, Oregon. Lynn and co. are currently working on a music video for the song as well.
